CURRENT EVENTS
Following the CPD session, attendees are invited to stay for drinks, a grazing table and networking, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow
VWL members and members of the legal profession in a relaxed setting.
Everyone is talking about AI in the legal industry right now, but no one is talking about what it means for women in law. Is it gendered? How can it improve your career as a woman in law? Do you see it as a disruptor or a chance to get ahead?
VWL is bringing together the female leaders in AI driving the change from Allens, Melbourne University, Legora and the Law Institute of Victoria.
Join us on 15 October 2026 for a panel discussion that will talk straight - how law firms are implementing AI, the university research, how legal AI software platforms continue to adapt and develop in the rapid changing landscape and a wise word on its regulation and ethical use.
Whilst this event is tailored for women, everyone is welcome.
Date: Thursday 15 October 2026
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Allens, Level 37, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC
Tickets: Free for VWL Members, $15 for Non members
The Victorian Women Lawyers' Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is proud to partner with the Middle Bridge Project to bring diverse people in the law a culturally safe, psychologically informed workshop on the impacts of workplace discrimination, identity and burnout.
Led by experienced psychologist Vi Tran, Founder of the Middle Bridge Project and Celia Tran, Founder and Director of the Social Fabric, this interactive workshop is tailored by diverse people to come together, share their experiences and feel seen, blending lived experience with clinical insight.
