In my particular practice area, I get to witness clients' dreams materialise, from visas to citizenship, which creates a profound sense of purpose. In addition, the dynamic challenges of ever-evolving immigration laws keep me engaged, while working alongside equally passionate and high-achieving colleagues keeps me driven. Most importantly, the impact my work has on our clients’ lives makes being an immigration lawyer an incredibly rewarding and meaningful endeavour.
A career highlight has been…
Being appointed as Co-Chair of VWL’s Justice Committee in 2022 was certainly one of the most exciting points in my career as I truly believe in VWL’s mission and fully support our initiative. VWL plays a significant role in advocacy for women lawyers in Victoria and has continued to provide support and opportunities to members of the legal professional throughout their career. As such, being able to co-lead the Justice Committee and collaborate with colleagues on different projects has been very fulfilling.
