Victorian Women Lawyers welcomes you to a discussion about body image and the law, led by two prominent women working in very different ways to influence laws relating to women’s body image.
Many lawyers are concerned about the representation of women in the media, and are interested in exploring ways to promote more positive and natural renditions.
Friday 16 October 2015 at 7:30am: registration and light breakfast - 7:45am: panel discussion at Corrs Chambers Westgarth Level 25, 567 Collins Street Melbourne
This event aims to raise awareness about body image issues that affect the health and wellbeing of all women.
Guests will have an opportunity to participate in a conversation around issues of body image and the law, and explore possible changes in policy and education.
