Victorian Women Lawyers (VWL) proudly joins with the Women Barristers’ Association (WBA) to present our annual Coming to the Bar information and networking event. Come along and hear from a panel of engaging speakers who will give you an inside view of life as a barrister, including tips on the bar readers’ course, the bar exam and more. The panel discussion will be followed by an opportunity to meet the presenters and other women barristers over breakfast in the Essoign Club.

PRESENTATIONS BY:

CATHERINE KUSIAC Catherine was admitted to practice in 2013 and signed the bar roll in April 2015. She has a commercial and common law practice with a particular focus on professional negligence and personal injury.

PATRICIA DOBSON Patricia is an experienced child protection and family law barrister. She was admitted to practice in 1977 and signed the bar roll in 2002.

KATE CONNERS Kate studied law as a mature age student with two small children at home. After being admitted to practice in 2008, she spent three years as an associate at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Kate joined Foley’s List as a clerk in 2011.
