Please join us for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Victorian Women Lawyers Association Inc on Tuesday 18 November 2025 from 5:00pm for a 5:15pm start at the Queen Victoria Women's Centre, 210 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 and by Electronic Meeting Link for online attendees. VWL thanks its sponsor Australian Migration Lawyers for hosting the 2024 AGM.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS

Members who are unable to attend the AGM but who wish to appoint a proxy can do so by using the Appointment of Proxy Form and Election Ballot Paper for Proxies.

Due to a change in VWL's Rules of Association in 2023, members who are unable to attend the AGM can vote on the election of Committee Members/Executive Committee by completing the Election Ballot Paper for Proxies form. The candidates provided a short summary of their reasons for seeking election to the Executive Committee. This is included as the Executive Committee Candidate Summary in the AGM Member Pack to assist members eligible to vote in making a decision, in the event that a ballot is required.

Please forward the Appointment of Proxy form and Election Ballot Paper for Proxies form to VWL's Secretary Shaniya Vilash at [email protected] by no later than 5:30pm Monday 17 November 2025.

POST AGM CELEBRATIONS

It is anticipated that the AGM will conclude between 6:30 and 6:45pm.

The VWL end of year celebration will take place immediately following the AGM.
